Since the inception of the company, Engineering Concepts & Design, has been passionate about our involvement in creating quality residential development. We have worked with a wide variety of residential developers from custom home builders to large lot developers all over north Texas.  Our project experience ranges from small scale single family developments to large scale master planned communities.  Engineering Concepts & Design offers our clients a "one-stop-shop".  We have the expertise and experience necessary to take a project from inception to completion.

Representative Projects

The Bridges at Preston Crossings

Located in Gunter, The Bridges at Preston Crossings is a large master planned community with a total projected 2,200 single family lots on 1,600 acres surrounding an 18-hole championship golf course.  Construction of the initial phase of the project as well as the golf course and the golf course clubhouse have been completed.  Engineering Concepts & Design delivered the following services:  due diligence/feasibility studies, annexation, zoning, platting, engineering design, jurisdictional determination, flood studies, FEMA Letter of Map Revision, construction surveying and construction administration for the entire development.  In addition to all the civil engineering on the project Engineering Concepts & Design was awarded the landscape installation and assisted in the landscape design.

Lake Ridge at Joe Pool Lake, Cedar Hill/Grand Prairie, Texas

Lake Ridge is a large master planned community located along the southeastern shores of Joe Pool Lake.  Lake Ridge features 2500 single family lots ranging from 0.50 acre lots to 2 acre lots in three separate cities - Cedar Hill, Grand Prairie and Midlothian.  A full scope of services was provided for this project from inception to construction.  In addition to the civil engineering on the project Engineering Concepts & Design was awarded the landscaping design on two recent phases of the development and the installation on a recent phase.

Stone River Estates, Royse City, Texas

Located just to the east of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in Royse City, Stone River Estates is nestled on 300 acres surrounded by the existing Stone River Golf Course.  Stone River Estates is projected to have 300 single family lots ranging in size from 5,500 SF to 8,000 SF.  Services rendered for this development include due diligence, golf course re-rerouting plan, land planning, zoning, platting, engineering design, construction surveying and construction administration.  In addition to the engineering services Engineering Concepts & Design was awarded the landscaping design and installation for the project.

Water's Edge Ranch, Henderson County, Texas

Water’s Edge Ranch is located in Henderson County, northwest of the City of Athens.  The project is situated on a scenic 2,150 acres surrounding a 320 acre lake.  Engineering Concepts & Design provided/performed the following services:  due diligence/feasibility services, platting, engineering design, TxDOT permitting, construction surveying and construction administration for the entire development.
